Julie from the Dead Sea

Hi everyone!

If you could see me right now you wouldn't recognize me-that's because I've taken the waters at the Dead Sea and Gilla our guide assures me that I look 20 years younger. Scholmo our bus driver said the same thing.

We had a great time here and are now driving back up to Jersalem. I wouldn't doubt if people took a nap or two on the way home since we also took in Ein Gedi and Masada today. Fun! Wish all of you were here.

Neal Checks in From Jerusalem

We had a great service tonight here at the Dan Panorama in Jerusalem tonight. Dr. Scudder gave the gospel so very clearly. And shared stories. What a great night. We had a free day today in Jerusalem. Julie and Neal went with a group who wanted to explore the Old City. We toured the excavations at the SW corner of the Temple Mount. That was neat!

Julie in Jerusalem

Hey all! What a day! We are so amazingly blessed to be in this country. Even the air feels God-breathed. Tonight after dinner we listened as Fox News Correspondant Mike Tobin spoke on what he does and some of the details politically of this region. It was really great to hear him. Mike Tobin is really awesome. Look for him on Fox and say Hi for me.

Tomorow's the free day. Neal and I are taking a lot of people around the old city. I just love this golden city-this amazing place.

Julie in Bethlehem

Hello everyone! We're in Bethleham right now. The city is definitely doing better than it did a few years ago in the sense of being busier. We just had lunch of schwarma or falofil and now on to the church of the nativity. Then shop, shop! We've had great weather today. Fun to hang out with Mary, Donna, Ken, Laura, Percy, Armanda, David, Herrimans, Hannah, and everyone else.

where many believe the Transfiguration took place.

More from Julie in Israel

Yesterday we had lovely rain all day. When we got to Tabor, we ended up going into the church for our own service. But it turned into a wonderful time and that is so how God is. He takes things that normally aren't so fun and turns them into tons of the stuff. Then we zigzagged back down the mountain in the taxi's. After some delicious coffee which dearest Neal got for me (my valentine's day present-the way to a woman's heart is through caffeine) we traveled to Megido. It was still raining but it was fun going down into the water tunnel. Then on to the Jordan River for the baptism where the brave among us got baptized. It was really cold and raining and Dad is one brave man to do all the baptisms.
