Your Trial Might Bring Others

Today's Scripture: Daniel 6
Sometimes your greatest opportunity to share Christ will come during your time of greatest suffering. This was the case with Daniel, who served 3 kings in the pagan, godless Babylon for many years.
Daniel had probably prayed for many opportunities to talk about Jehovah with the King and yet it was a trip to the Lion’s Den which give him that platform.
But what if Daniel had stopped praying to God as a way of avoiding certain death? All of Babylon would have missed this opportunity to hear about Jehovah.
Daniel realized that God has a purpose for every moment of testing. God was in control of the behind-the-scenes machinations that nearly sent a good man to his death. But there are probably thousands in Heaven today because of Daniel’s faith.
And so it is with you. Did you ever think that your suffering could be the vehicle that brings others to the Savior? Did you ever think your hardships are part of God’s overall plan to reveal Himself to unbelievers? Have you ever stopped to consider the purpose of your pain?
