Three Questions

Today's Scripture: Romans 12:1-2

The mind is a battlefield. So, guard it! Watch what you read...watch what you look at...watch what you let into your mind. Don’t let wrong thoughts linger. This is what it means to renew your mind. We need to learn to think what God thinks about salvation, forgiveness, mercy, sickness, healing, deliverance, and goodness. We need to concentrate on these things and give ourselves wholly to them.

Consider the following questions:
1. What are the four things you are working for the most right now?
2. What are the four things you love the most?
3. What are the four things you think about the most?

If your thoughts are consumed with godly thinking, then you will become holier. If the answers to these questions are primarily worldly or fleshly, then don’t be surprised if you aren’t a spiritual person. This is essentially the same method used by Jesus to determine a person’s true character.

Matthew 6:19-21 states, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven…For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

Train your mind to think godly thoughts. Then you will have much treasure in Heaven.
