Today's Scripture: Ephesians 4:32

Thirteen-year-old Natalie Gilbert was asked to sing, "The Star Spangled Banner" before a full house at an NBA playoff game. But she forgot the words. She appeared to be on the verge of tears. Maurice Cheeks, head coach of the Portland Trailblazers, walked out on center court, placed his arm around Natalie and began singing with her. He then asked the crowd to join them. What could have been utter embarrassment became a great moment.

The only person who can stand beside us in our worst moments is Jesus. Friends can help us, but only Jesus will never fail us. Only Jesus understands our deepest hurts and sorrows. Only Jesus knows our frame and knows what is best for us.

Do you need to go to Jesus and ask Him for help? Perhaps you are having a hard time pleasing your parents as a student. Or you're facing a difficult time at work. You may be fearing a potentially big change that will have serious implications on your life. Whatever your situation, know that Jesus already has promised to help you. The best advice I can give you is simply to trust Him.

Today's Quote: He stands erect by bending over the fallen. He rises by lifting others. - Robert Green Ingersoll
