Creation or Chaos?

Today's Scripture: Psalm 19:1-4

Jean-Paul Sartre shared: “I do not feel that I am the product of chance, a speck of dust in the universe, but someone who was expected, prepared, prefigured. …A being whom only a Creator could put here; and this idea of a creating hand refers to God.” Evolutionary thinking goes back, surprisingly, even before the time of Darwin. Back in the 1700’s, a man named Charles Lyell created ‘uniformitarian geology,’ the greatest weapon ever launched against Scripture. He taught, “The present is the key to the past.” His ideas influenced many, most notably, Charles Darwin.

Evolution has been taught in our classrooms as science for over 40 years, influencing several generations. True science possesses four traits: 1. It is testable; 2. It is observable; 3. It is repeatable; and 4. It is predictable. Neither creation nor evolution fit true science, because they cannot be observed or proven. However, we can take tried-and-true scientific principles to examine whether either theory will work.

Charles Lyell’s teachings, when submitted to scientific criticism, fall apart. However, biblical truth has been accurately proven and repeated without fail. Therefore, we can conclude, “The Bible is the key to the past.” Therefore, what it says about creation must be true, and evolution is an unfounded lie!

Today's Quote: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. —John 1:3
