Never Lost

Today's Scripture: Ephesians 2:8-9

Some cars have a “Never Lost” feature or some type of GPS device that keeps their car on track. Now, you can even get this type of feature on a PDA so you can carry it around with you.

What I like the best is the name, “Never Lost”. In other words, if you have such a device, then you can be assured that you will never be lost again. Of course, this isn’t always true but for the most part, these devices at least help marriages stay on track because of the husband not having to stop and ask for directions.

Of course, the designer of this device probably never figured on someone like me using it. Recently, while driving a friend’s car, my wife and I were looking for a certain church. We drove down various streets and byways. Of course, I would never admit that I was lost so we kept driving.

Linda and I realized it at the same time. We hadn’t programmed the address into our GPS. For some reason, we were thinking that since we had the address, it would be okay.

A few minutes later, we pulled up to the church, just in time.

Inside each believer is a Never Lost feature better than any man-made device. Our Never Lost is sealed by the Holy Spirit.

God has made it so that you will never be lost. Thank Him for His wonderful grace today.

Today's Quote: The same God who saves you, keeps you.
