This is our first December in Ohio. We love living in such a beautiful area. The rolling hills and multitude of trees really are a treat for my eyes since I’m used to being from the more flat area of Chicago. The other day we went to a store called “Tis the Season” which advertised itself as the largest Christmas store in Ohio. My daughter, Amanda, and I went inside and got lost almost immediately in this circular store with more Christmas trees, ornaments, angels, and decorations than I’ve seen in one place.

Christmas is my favorite holiday as I’m sure it is the favorite for many of you. There is just something about all the preparations that makes me happy to be a wife and mom with the ability to prepare our home for Christmas.

The greatest gift, Jesus, is the reason for Christmas and the reason that we can even draw another breath. I’m thankful that He is my Savior. And this time of year, I try to take extra time to thank Him for His grace and goodness.
