Gift Annuities

A charitable gift annuity provides you with guaranteed fixed income for life in exchange for a gift to Victory In Grace. This is available as a:

  • Current gift annuity

    • Provides you guaranteed income right away

  • Deferred gift annuity

    • Provides you guaranteed income starting in the future

Your age when you begin receiving fixed income payments from the annuity affects the interest you’ll receive. The older you are, the higher the interest rates will be.

               Example:

Jane has watched Dr. Scudder on television for many years and read the monthly magazine. She appreciates the solid Bible teaching and wants to see others brought to Christ through the clear presentation of the gospel. She contacts Victory In Grace and finds it’s simple to set up a charitable gift annuity.

Jane is 62 years old and would like to supplement her retirement income when she retires. Last month she received $100,000 as part of the estate from her inheritance. She doesn’t want to invest in a potentially risky stock market and likes the peace of mind of knowing exactly how much she will receive every year once she retires.

She finds that she will receive an interest rate of 5.6%, providing her with $5600 every year for the rest of her life, paid in guaranteed quarterly checks. A portion of this amount is tax-free, so she will save on her taxes after retirement.
