Today’s Scripture: Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew¬†25:13

Could Christ come back in our lifetime? We are living in a day that no other book but the Bible could predict. Satellites can now read our license plates. The government can listen in on every phone call. I believe the rapture is coming quickly. Look at the predictions that have already been fulfilled. Everything necessary for Him to come has been completed. Here are a just a few examples:

  • The information highway is astonishing (Daniel 12:4). People are able to travel the world in hours. We’ve put people on the moon. For 6,000 years, men rode horses, walked, and sailed. Now, we have no shortage of ways to travel with speed, and with the internet, we have no problem accessing knowledge.
  • The Jews have already returned to their country, and Israel is the hotbed of the world (Jeremiah 23:3).
  • Look at the TV and the internet. How else would different people of other tongues and nations be able to see the two witnesses without such devices? (Revelation¬†11:7-9)
  • One government, one religion… look at the new pope. Can’t you see how he would be part of getting that going? (Revelation 12:3)

Friend, I am not telling you these things to frighten you about our world, but to remind you that it is not our home. We have a mission to win the lost before time runs out. Don’t live like Christ is still in the cradle. It lies beneath the shadow of His completed work on Calvary’s cross. We may not know the day or the hour, but we know our Savior is coming back soon. Let’s live like it!
