Today’s Scripture: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

Sometimes you may feel like you are all alone and God has forsaken you. But His Word is still true – He has promised to never leave you or forsake you. He loves you and will do what is best for you. Do you trust Him? Here is an old song that really puts it nicely.

In heavenly love abiding, no change my heart shall fear;
And safe in such confiding, for nothing changes here.
The storm my roar without me, my heart may low be laid,
But God is round about me, and can I be dismayed?

Wherever He may guide me, no want shall turn me back;
My Shepherd is beside me, and nothing can I lack.
His wisdom ever waketh; His sight is never dim.
He knows the way He taketh, and I will walk with Him.

Green pastures are before me, which yet I have not seen;
Bright skies will soon be o’er me, where darkest clouds have been.
My hope I cannot measure; my path to life is free;
My Savior has my treasure, and He will walk with me.

Do you trust the way He is taking you? It may not make sense to you, but God knows what He’s doing. Even as you go through the storms of life, you can be confident in his love. Know that wherever He guides, He is with you; He has perfect wisdom and sees everything. Is that enough for you? When God’s plans seem to go against all logic, remember, His ways are best.
