Today’s Scripture: Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. 105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:104-105

Do you ever feel like knowing God’s will is some big mysterious area of Christianity? Many Believers are troubled because they think they must receive some important revelation of what God has for their life. Knowing God’s will is not a one-time event. Instead, it is a constant process—His will unfolds gradually.

You do not have to be fearful of missing God’s will because He has specifically provided a guide — His Word. Through His precepts, you can gain understanding. The Bible is like a glowing lamp which illuminates your way. From its light, yoy can make sure your footsteps stay on the right path.

God does not want you to simply go to church and guess at what He has for you to do. Instead, He wants you to seek counsel and guidance from Scripture.

The more you learn God’s Word, the more you will know His will. With each well-lit step you take, more of His plan will be made clear.

Rather than trying to figure out God’s will in your own strength, allow the Scriptures to be your guide. Whether you recently graduated from high school and are looking for the next step or you recently retired and are not sure what to do now, trust God’s Word. When you let the light of the Word shine on your path, you won’t feel like you are lost in the fog.
