Today’s Scripture: And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2¬†Corinthians¬†12:9

Holding down a job, keeping relationships going, serving the Lord-sometimes our world seems as if it is spinning out of control. We feel like we are living “the crazy life”-thinking we always have to keep everything under control on our own. Even when our lives feel upside down, we have a source of stability and help, but we often try to muddle through alone.

Worrying about life’s problems will not change them. Running around like a headless chicken trying to fix our finances will not cause money to magically appear. Taking our stress out on those we love will only make us feel worse. How can we deal with life’s craziness?

Turn to the Lord. Scripture tells us His grace is sufficient for every problem. His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Like Paul, we can glory in our infirmities and rest in the power of the Lord. We can take great comfort that God will provide His grace and strength every step of the way.

Are you living “the crazy life”? Whether you are a single mom frantically trying to make ends meet or an overwhelmed college student, tell the Lord about your worries. Life doesn’t have to be crazy. Ask Him for His grace and strength. Rest in His power. When you realize God is in charge of your life, you will no longer feel crazed but comforted.
