Today’s Scripture: For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Galatians 5:13

Yesterday we talked about being in a good Bible believing and teaching church. This is important not only to hear the Word being taught, but also to be able to get plugged in to ministry. Living a life of serving others will help you get the focus off yourself and onto the needs of others. You will begin to see God provide for the people you are helping, and your own faith will be strengthened as you see God providing for your needs as well.

You might say “But I don’t have any skills the church can use…I can’t teach or preach, and I can’t sing.” To that I would answer, can you use a vacuum? Can you stack chairs or cut grass? How about planting flowers? If you want to really make your pastor’s day, go to him and say, “Pastor, I know God wants me to get involved in serving Him through ministry, but I don’t know what exactly. What do you need me to do?”

I promise you that your pastor will be glad to plug you in. I can also promise you that as you serve the Lord and others through ministry, your faith will continue to grow and you will successfully live the Faith Lifestyle.
