Today’s Scripture: He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.
Proverbs 16:20

There was a man that came to me for counsel, and I told him to do something that he really did not want to do. I told him that he had to do this if he wanted to make things right. He told me that he couldn’t do it.

Later, he told me that he did what I told him to do. I asked him what happened afterwards. He explained that because he made the right decision when he listened to my advice, he then made the right decision when it came to his next choice.

That man learned a very important lesson. When you make a right decision that is hard to make, then making a right decision the next time is easier. If you keep making right decisions, eventually that will enable you to do something for God that you never imagined you could do.

Doing what is right is not always easy, but it is always right. In Proverbs, it tells us that if someone handles a matter wisely, he will find good, and if he trusts the LORD, he will be happy.

When you trust God enough to obey him in an area that you don’t want to obey, God is going to bless you for it.

The conclusion is, if you obey God, God will use you in unbelievable ways. Only in heaven will you see fully how God used you.
