Today’s Scripture: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

Six-year-old Amy eagerly waited at the front door. Her blue eyes were fixed on the driveway. “I can’t wait to show pastor my new watch and perfume,” she said excitedly.

“Honey, I don’t think that is such a good idea. We want Pastor Wagoner to be able to relax while he is eating his dinner,” said her father.

During dinner Amy fidgeted as she sat next to Pastor Wagoner. Halfway through the meal she tugged on his sleeve and whispered, “If you hear a ticking noise and smell something nice, it’s me.”

How often do we get so excited we can’t help but share what is on our mind? We get so enthused about buying a new car, purchasing a puppy, or getting a new dress, we tell everyone we know. But do we do the same with our salvation? Christ is more thrilling than anything else in the world. We should be so elated about Him we can’t help but share His love with others.

Don’t let anything take away your thrill of sharing the gospel. Get motivated! Carry tracts by the money in your wallet. Each time you go to pay for something new, you can remember what you really have to be excited about.
