Today’s Scripture: And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. Deuteronomy 8:3

Living by faith is not an easy task. By its very definition, faith involves trust. Living by faith doesn’t make sense initially, but as you keep on and learn to trust, it works. You begin to experience something that other people want to experience. God has made it so we must be dependent on Him – whoever has faith has everything; whoever doesn’t have faith has nothing.

What are some ways that you can strengthen your faith? The first is to get into the Word of God, and read and meditate on His truths. It is hard to claim God’s promises when you don’t know what those promises are.

God uses His Word to speak to us today. In it, He has given us everything we need. All of the answers to life’s problems can be found in the pages of His Word.

If you are not reading His word consistently, your faith will not grow. Your faith will be strengthened as you see how God continually provided for the needs of His people over centuries of time. The truths of Scripture will help to give you the strength you need to live what I like to call, the Faith Lifestyle.
