Today’s Scripture: I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:1-3

One of the most effective methods of advertising today comes in the form of ratings and reviews. No matter what the product – whether it is a diet plan, a security system, a new medication, or a restaurant – it is common to find it presented along with an endorsement. The company selling the product wants to showcase how their product was beneficial to others and how it could help you, too.

In some cases, the testimonial is given because the client is so thankful for what the product has accomplished in their lives. While a restaurant review might only portray that the reviewer thought it was delicious, someone else might express their gratefulness for a new drug that helped save their life or a security system which helped prevent a break in.

This is the type of testimonial we need to have for our God. It should emanate from our lips freely. Our God is greater than anything this world has to offer. We were stuck in the miry clay, unable to do anything to save ourselves, but He pulled us out and set us upon a rock – and He has done it again and again. We have been saved from Hell, but we have also been rescued many other times in our lives.

Think of all the times God has heard your cry and brought you out of a trial or carried a burden you couldn’t bear. Praise Him for all He has done in your life, and share what God has done with someone today. When we do, God’s Word says many shall trust in the Lord. Let’s tell the world how great our God is today.
