There are three basic theories of truth: The Pragmatic Theory views truth as whatever is expedient or useful, while the Coherence Theory states something to be true if it corresponds with one’s belief system. The Correspondence Theory defines something to be true if it corresponds to reality.
That being said, which theory is correct? The first two relative theories deny one of the central laws of logic, the Law of Non-contradiction. All religions contradict each other; therefore, they cannot all be true. Only the third theory is objective.
What does that mean for those conflicted over the varying religions? There is one Savior, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). There is no other name among men by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Believer, we have a crucial message to bring to a world lost in confusion. Our God never changes, nor does His Word. Share the one true Way today.
