Today’s Scripture: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20

In his book, Experiencing God, Henry Blackaby writes, “You will never set a goal so big or attempt a task so significant that God does not have something far greater that He could do in and through your life.”

How often do we limit God? How often do we bring Him down to the size of our neatly-crafted plans? God wants to do so much more than we think is possible. Why? Because when God works through us, He gets the glory.

I remember sitting on rented chairs in a tiny storefront in a bad part of Chicago, thinking to myself, “What can God even do with me?” We had no financial backing, no roots in Chicago, and few friends. On the surface, it looked like we’d made a huge mistake, but I just knew God was calling me to Chicago. Over 40 years later, I look back and see that God’s plans for me were far different than my own, and for that I’m glad. I’m glad God was not limited by my dreams.

And so it is with you. God has great dreams for you-plans to take your life and use it in ways you never thought humanly possible-because they aren’t humanly possible.

Don’t limit God-let Him work in and through your life.
