Today’s Scripture: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Matthew¬†7:7

Do you ever wonder why there are always so many potholes in the roads you have to travel? That same concept applies to our life. Most of the time we do not understand why there are bumps along the way. Why can’t it just be a smooth and easy drive?

The Christian life is not meant to be easy. It has its potholes. So, where do you turn when life gives you bumps in the road? Where can you go for answers to life’s many troubles? God’s Word is the only book that has ever had the answers, and it is the only place to turn when seeking the truth. In our text, we read that when we seek, we will find answers.

Have you encountered a lot of life’s potholes lately? Maybe you just got hit with a financial burden or are feeling the pressure of a rebellious teenager at home. Perhaps you are wondering why the road can’t just be smooth. Remember, God gives us trials so that we will turn to Him and seek answers from His Word. He uses each bump in the road to make us better Christians. Consider the potholes you are experiencing and look to God’s Word for answers. Allow those bumps in the road to make you a better traveler in your Christian journey.
